The previous maximum number of cases of coronavirus infection per day was found on June 26, when 1,109 people were diagnosed with the infection.
On the last day, 23 deaths of people infected with coronavirus were also recorded, and another 760 previously infected patients were recovered.
On Wednesday, Ukraine reported 1,022 new cases of COVID-19 the day before, compared to 919 on Tuesday and 807 on Monday.
A total of 68,794 people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection in the country so far, of whom 37,394 have recovered and 1,673 have died.
There are currently 29,727 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country, up to 1,174 more than the previous day.
Of the most recent cases identified, COVID-19 was reported in Kiev (199), Lviv region (131), Rivne (105) and Ivan Frankivsk (104).
