Currently, the incidence rate of coronavirus infection in Lithuania is 100,000. The population is 3.7. More intensive tests are needed in those municipalities where the epidemiological indicator is 100,000. The population exceeds the Lithuanian average and is above 5, and more than one case of coronavirus infection has been detected in the past 14 days.

The incidence rate in the Trakai district is 18.4, in the Kėdainiai district – 15.5, in the Šakiai district – 15.0, in the city of Kaunas – 12.1, in the Molėtai district – 11.7, in the Vilnius district – 10.0, in the Šalčininkai district – 9.8, In the city of Panevėžys – 9.3, in the Klaipėda district – 8.3.

The testing procedure remains the same: in these high-risk municipalities, treatment and welfare workers will be prophylactically examined this week. Patients who have spent more than 48 hours in treatment facilities will also be studied further.

Additional investigations will be conducted for firefighters, soldiers, pharmacists, mobile point employees and fever clinics, and others specified in Operations Manager decision no. V-1336.

Last week, the municipalities with a 14-day incidence of coronavirus infection counted 100,000. The population was higher than in Lithuania, in the Trakai, Šakiai, Šalčininkai, Utena and Kretinga districts and in the municipalities of the city of Kaunas.
