A 20-year-old taxi driver was arrested in Lentvaris and found in a car on suspicion of various drugs. The suspect was found in custody. A pre-trial investigation has been launched.

An inspection of the car found a green, plant-based drug, also called ‘grass,’ which was wrapped in aluminum foil, as well as a blue tablet as a suspected psychotropic substance.
This is the fifth pre-trial investigation initiated in the Trakai District during the three weeks of July: July 6. On 15 July cannabis was discovered and removed as a suspect in a greenhouse in the village of Būda, Trakai district. About 60 grams of suspected cocaine and flakes ready for distribution were found in a BMW car in Rūdiškės on July 14. and on July 19. In Lentvaris, Trakai police officers found and seized suspicious drugs of amphetamine, marijuana, and other cannabinoids as suspect cars.
