“I would like to share a story about my dad that happened on July 18. Third Kaunas Hospital. First, I will start with the fact that you are a citizen who works and pays the state. In a word, in the morning he started vomiting a lot, pouring terrible sweat, intensifying the headache. After several hours and without improving his condition, on the contrary, the headache only intensified and one side of his head fell asleep, and his mother called an ambulance. “
According to her, when help came, the mother described all the symptoms to specialists and thought it was a sign of a stroke. D. Beržinskienė took his father to the hospital, investigated, built a drip and, at the reception, he said, he spent the whole day on the drip.
“According to the walls, he had gone to the bathroom once and none of the employees noticed this. Finally, the doctor called my sister at night and asked her to pick him up because he couldn’t find anything and there were no places in the hospital to keep daddy overnight. The sister who arrived found Dad sitting outside on the stairs, already discharged from the hospital. As he himself did not have the strength to get out, strangers helped him. Outside, the sister and her father met their doctor. There was a conflict between the sister and the doctor, she asked why her father had to go home in this condition. “
The woman said that the doctor wrote everything for the hangover because Dad said he drank whiskey at night.
“When he began to lead the patient to the car (he did not go, he was carried by his brother and sister), he grabbed his head because he felt great pain. The doctor took him back to the hospital, who brought the “wheels” to his father for the first time! Later in the night, members of our family were informed that he had a micro stroke. Family members have many questions: What are these people doing in the hospital?
Why does a person have to feel guilty about being in the hospital? Fear that fear where everything goes! A person who has paid taxes for a lifetime cannot get what belongs to him? Thank God Dad is alive, I definitely won’t thank this doctor because only the sisters are here for everything! And thank God you have loved ones, because otherwise you don’t know how everything would have ended! Dovilė was resentful.
He also added that his mother, as a housewife, suspected that his father had a stroke and all this when first aid arrived, and the doctor, who had been monitoring him all day, had not seen him.
“It just came to our attention then – It’s worth nothing, everything is looked through! And for whom is that Hippocratic oath? People turn to doctors because they need help, not because they have nothing to do! Be good, do your job or don’t do it if it’s not your vocation! He told the medical staff.
Delfi requested a comment from the administration of the Kaunas Republican Hospital, but it was explained to her that the hospital understands her family’s concerns, but cannot comment on the situation.
