Last Saturday, CFR was supposed to play a major league game against the FCSB club, but on the morning of the match, CFR player Alexandru Paunas felt unwell, with a fever (temperature 38.6) and vomiting. He was immediately tested for coronavirus, which was positive.
As a result, the match was canceled, but at Club Cluj, the virus managed to spread. According to the Romanian media, 10 people have already contracted coronavirus on the team. Not only the players are ill, but also the fitness trainer and physical therapist.
There are no G. Arlauskis surnames among the sick, and a strict quarantine has been introduced into the CFR camp. Due to this situation, it is unclear when CFR will be able to play the match and end this season, in which CFR is still in second place.
