ESPN reports that Dončičius flew back to his hometown on a private plane.
If the National Basketball Association (NBA) decided to resume the season, the Slovenian would have to return to the United States and then be quarantined.
However, returning to the United States may not be so easy: the country’s laws are extremely strict in this regard.
The 21-year-old basketball player averaged 28.7 points this season, recovered 9.3 points and scored 8.7 assists.
