The last day of the Lithuanian national team camp was crowned with training matches.

Darius Maskoliūnas ‘students were divided into “white” and “green” teams and not only had to follow the coaches’ instructions, but also competed against each other.

Benas Matkevičius’s students triumphed in three halves of 10-minute training matches. The Greens 63:44 defeated the “whites” who listened to Thomas Masiulis’s instructions.

The match started with a tough and tough point-to-point fight, and after the first ten minutes, the “green” had a 3-point lead: 16:13.

In the second half, the “Greens” continued to show a better game in attack and took the lead ten minutes before the decisive ten – 38:30.

The last 10 minutes were just a formality: the “Greens” showed their superiority and celebrated the victory: 63:44.

The green team was led by Lukas Lekavičius, who scored 15 points. Tadas Sedekerskis added 13 points, and Tomas Dimša and Marekas Blaževičius added 10 points each. Mantas Kalnietis and Edgar Ulanov had 8 and 7 points, respectively.

Arnas Butkevičius, who scored 11 points, and Laurynas Birutis, who added 10 points, stood out in Baltieji’s top six. Rokas Jokubaitis and Marius Grigonis, who scored 9 points each, helped them better. Eimantas Bendžius and Arnoldas Kulboka scored 3 and 2 points, respectively.

The last training of the men’s national team was crowned by a serve competition, the winner of which was the Huawei P40 Pro mobile phone. Tadas Sedekerskis appeared as the best of the competition and won the phone.

This summer, not last names, but nicknames were on the back of basketball players’ jerseys.
