United States President Donald Trump said Friday that he was confident that the new coronavirus would disappear sooner or later, even if a vaccine against the disease could not be developed.

“It will go away even if there is no vaccine,” the head of state told reporters at the White House.
According to Trump, a new outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus infection “may occur in the fall or next year, but we will be ready to calm it down.”
The president added that many companies have made significant progress in developing coronavirus vaccines. However, he recalled that there were a number of communicable diseases for which vaccines had not been developed.
