Last month, personal cars (M1) accounted for 7,468 units and light commercial vehicles (N1), 419 units.
In January, Volkswagen cars (1,280 units), BMW (972) and Audi (696) were the most registered in the country.
Among the models were the Volkswagen Passat (329 units), the BMW 3 Series (319) and the BMW 5 Series (274). The average age of used cars registered for the first time in Lithuania was 11.6 years.
The share of diesel cars was 71.1 percent. (65.3% in January 2020).
Last month, 11,410 used cars were inspected in Lithuania
property change operations, that is, up to 44.2%. less than in 2020 in January (20,462).
There were 10,911 changes in private car ownership (M1) and 499 light commercial vehicles (N1).
In January, the owners were replaced mainly by Volkswagen cars (2,045 units), Audi (1,299) and BMW (1,232).
The most common operations were the change of ownership of the Volkswagen Passat (670 units), Volkswagen Golf (473) and BMW 3 Series (458) models. The average age of used cars that changed ownership was 13.5 years.
