After evaluating the activities of 45 candidates nominated by the public in the field of culture and art, the commission selected twelve candidates for the Lithuanian National Arts and Culture Awards during the mid-term vote.
Applicants for the National Art and Culture Awards (names are presented in random order): cinematographer Janas Vitoldas Tomaševičius, actor Vidas Petkevičius, choreographer Birutė Letukaitė (Birūta Komskienė), writer Saulius Tomas Kondrotas, actress Edina Šaltenytė, art critic Gė artist Eglė Ridikaitė, musicologist Rūta Stanevičiūtė, director Gytis Padegimas, architect Gintaras Balčytis, photographer Remigijus Treigys.

The annual bonuses amount to 800 basic social benefits. The diplomas and badges of the winners of the Lithuanian national arts and culture awards will be awarded on the occasion of the Lithuanian State Restoration Day.
