Residents of Šiauliai, 27 m. K. Chadzevičius and A. Riabov, an accomplice ten years his senior, pleaded guilty in court to a crime committed in a group of accomplices: the production of drugs with the aim of distributing them.

The crime was committed on February 10, 2019 in Šiauliai, when K. Chadzevičius produced a large quantity of 1,726,999 g of psychotropic substance in his residential home together with A. Riabov and two other men, for whom the preliminary investigation was separated. in a separate investigation. amphetamine.

The remaining part of the drug, 0.004 g, remained at the home of K. Chadzevičius. Soon both men were arrested and during the search, the police officers found drugs held in these hiding places.

The boys experienced

In testifying, K. Chadzevičius said that he and his friends constantly discussed how to get rich.

“We got interested and found information on how to do it. In reality, everything is possible and without complications, ”he said.

According to the boy, in about 3 months, they bought the materials they needed and did several tests.

“Something worked, but we don’t use drugs, so we decided to give it to someone to try,” said K. Chadzevičius.

When they found a known amphetamine lover, they gave it a try, but their verdict was harsh: the first pancake was smoked.

“We tried a little differently, we took it again, then he said it was fine,” the convict recalled.

The guys making the drugs noticed an unidentified police car near their home and immediately panicked. They were still trying to hide their product, but were soon arrested.

The court was strict

In court, the defendants pleaded guilty, expressed great regret for the crime committed, asked the court to recognize this confession as a mitigating circumstance of their responsibility and not punish them severely.

The court declared that the crime of K. Chadzevičius and A. Riaobov was proven by the testimonies of the defendants themselves, witnesses, criminal intelligence and other materials of the case. The court recognized the confession of the accused as a mitigating circumstance.

K. Chadzevičius was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the crime committed, and his accomplice A. Riabov was sentenced to 11 years and 1 month in prison, which was combined with the part of the previously missed sentence imposed for another crime.

The Opel Vectra was confiscated by court ruling, and both defendants will recover the monetary value of BMW of 5,350 euros.

This judgment has not entered into force and can be appealed to the Court of Appeal of the Republic of Lithuania.

These two boys, along with two others in common, stood out in early 2018, when they participated in the shooting in Joniškis.

However, even after that, the fugitive did not stop and, after running a few hundred meters, closed the open-air toilet of a residential house on Žemaitės street. After negotiations, he turned himself in to the police officers. It turned out that the shots fired by the officer hit him in the leg and arm and the fugitive was bleeding profusely. Police officers, who provided first aid to stop the bleeding, handed the injured over to doctors.

After some time, the last fugitive K. Chadzevičius was surrounded and detained in one of the residential houses on Audruvės street. He was also armed, his weapon was found lying in the courtyard of a house.
