A large Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite port has apparently leaked for its official reveal. As you may know, the Nintendo Switch has a growing reputation for getting games after they are released. Unlike some other ports, a Nintendo Switch port is a bit trickier, which perhaps explains at least in part why this happens so much. It probably also comes down to money and getting players to double dip. That said, if Activision had the latest intentions with it Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, well, the strategy is ruined.
Fans of the classic Tony Hawk games have been able to get their hands on the upcoming remasters early on thanks to a demo. The demo itself is pretty limited, but its files are pretty revealing. Inside the files is an image of the Nintendo Switch and the gameplay control scheme on Switch. There are also Switch-specific UIs and files that point to the Joy-Cons and Switch Pro controller.
As you can see below, via Twitter user Darth Bellic, the findings are pretty straightforward:

Now it has been pointed out that this may be possible for the PC version of the game, as Steam supports the Nintendo Switch controller. However, this is not only a stretch based on the images above, but the game does not come on Steam. It comes to Epic Games Store, which does not support the Nintendo Switch controller.
That said, take everything here with a grain of salt. While this leak provides pretty defensive evidence, nothing is official here, and at the time of publication, Activision remains silent on the leak, which is unlikely to change.
As before Tony Hawk’s Pro Reedrider 1 + 2, it is officially scheduled for release on September 4th via the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And it looks like it’s finally coming to Switch, too.
