What is the current situation in Seoul?
[캐스터]The typhoon is moving along the east coast, but the distance from Seoul is getting closer and closer.
This is because the radius of the strong typhoon winds reaches 300 km, and Seoul is also in the affected area, and the rain and wind are getting stronger as time passes.
Around 10 am, a strong wind of about 18 meters per second was recorded in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, and even now, when a gust of wind blows, it is difficult to properly control the body.
The time a typhoon approaches Seoul is around 2 p.m.
This morning Typhoon ‘Hiseon’, which landed on the southern coast of Ulsan, is currently heading north from land near Uljin.
It is expected to depart for the southern coast of Gangwon at 2 ~ 3pm.
The closest typhoon times will be around 2 pm in Seoul, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and at 3 pm in Gangneung.
As the typhoon moved north, typhoon warnings were issued on the West Coast, Yeongdong, Yeongnam, the East and South Seas, and typhoon warnings are in effect in most other regions, including Seoul.
Looking at the radar screen, the heaviest rain is now concentrated in Yeongdong province.
In the Goseong and Yangyang Mountains, it rains at a rate of 60mm per hour.
By tomorrow, it is expected to rain up to 250mm or more in the Gangwon Mountains, 100 to 200mm or more in Yeongdong and Gyeongbuk, and 30 to 100mm in other areas such as Seoul.

Around 10am, the strongest wind at 42.3m per second was recorded in Guryongpo, Pohang.
In the future, there will be momentary bursts of 40 meters per second in the Yeongdong and Yeongnam areas and of more than 50 meters per second in Ulleungdo and Dokdo.
On the southern and eastern coasts, there is concern about damage caused by storm surge with rising waves of up to 12 m.
