If the opposition unites with Na Gyeong-won, Park Young-sun 37.5% and Na Gyeong-won 32.9%
Before the Seoul mayor’s by-election in April next year, Ahn’s approval rating was highest in a virtual confrontation between ruling and opposition leaders Ahn Chul-soo of the Nationalist Party and Democratic Party minister Park Young- seon.
In the case of the unification of the power of the opposition by former legislator Na Kyung-won, it was found that Park (37.5%) preceded the former legislators (32.9%). In a three-way structure where the opposition powers are not unified and all compete, Minister Park won 35.5%, beating Ahn (26.0%) and former lawmaker Na (19.4%).
When asked about the ‘person who is suitable as a criminal passport candidate’, 36.3% cited Minister Park, followed by Minister of Justice Chu Miae (21.7%), Congressman Park Jumin (18, 6%) and Assemblyman Sangho Woo (12.4%). However, none of them have announced their intention to run except for Congressman Woo.
39.6% of the respondents who answered Jeon Ahn were the highest as “a suitable person as a candidate for the panopticon.” They were followed by former legislator Na (18.8%), former mayor Oh Se-hoon (15.6%), mayor of Seocho-gu Cho Eun-hee (5.3%), former legislator Geum Tae- seop (4.6%) and former lawmaker Lee Hye-hoon (2.6%).
