In addition to the well-known symptoms of the crown 19, such as cough, fever, and loss of smell, dermatological symptoms have been reported.

Viruses like chickenpox and measles cause skin rashes. It is an inflammatory reaction that occurs when the body’s immune system fights infection.

According to the American weekly magazine Time, there have been crown 19 clinical cases accompanying similar dermatological symptoms.

In late March, Italian medical staff reported that 20% of 88 19-crown patients in Lombardy had red urticaria on the upper torso. In some cases, chickenpox-like blisters were caught.

In early April, a group of French dermatologists reported that many of the 19 crown patients showed hives and some of them had frostbite-like lesions.

In mid-April, Italian medical personnel informed the American Dermatological Society that “a rare case, but a chickenpox-like rash is a definitive sign of crown 19 dermatology.”

In the United States, a symptom called “COVID toe” has also been reported. As if she had a frostbite, her fingers and toes turned red, and there were over 100 cases similar to France due to swelling.

According to Dr. Alisa Femia, a medical student at New York University School of Medicine, not many people have recently complained of “crown toe” symptoms in telemedicine. Most of them did not have severe symptoms that required intensive treatment, such as fever.

Some people who have had symptoms have a negative crown test, making it difficult to determine the causal relationship between the virus and skin symptoms at this stage.

However, Dr. Femia speculated, “Some patients with mild or asymptomatic symptoms would have had crown symptoms on their toes late after receiving a negative test.”

“Now when dermatological symptoms appear, it’s time to suspect Corona 19,” he said.

A preliminary study published in the journal Translational Research in early April may indicate that skin symptoms, such as rashes in patients with a crown 19, may have blood circulation problems due to blood clots.

If small blood clots cause skin problems, they can cause serious disabilities in other organs, such as the kidneys and liver.
