Quarantine authorities immediately quarantined the entire ward on the eighth floor of the building on the 11th when 67 confirmed cases, including staff and patients, occurred at the nursing hospital. At that time, the hospital had a total of 200 people, including 124 patients and 76 employees.
Excluding patients transferred to other hospitals, 133 people (103 patients, 30 employees) are still in cohort quarantine at 0 o’clock on the day. Of these, 87 confirmed patients are awaiting all quarantine beds.
Currently, there are 21 wards and 144 beds in the hospital, where confirmed and negative patients are separated. Among negative patients, patients with suspected Corona 19 symptoms are quarantined in separate hospital rooms.
Taking into account that 67 (52.3%) of the 128 confirmed patients in the hospital are between 80 and 100 years or older, the situation is expected to worsen as the allocation of beds is delayed.
Meanwhile, the Central Accident Control Center is providing medical support by urgently admitting 18 members of the medical staff to the nursing hospital to this day.
