Trump’s First Public Comment … “Next Administration, Time Will Tell”

[앵커]

The president of the United States, Trump, has spoken publicly for the first time since the defeat of the presidential election. I said “Time will tell” who the winner is. Let’s hear what it means by contacting correspondent Lim Jong-ju in Washington.

Correspondent Lim Jong-joo, did President Trump break his silence in a week?

[기자]

So is. President Trump himself made a related comment in promoting his accomplishments in the development of the Corona 19 vaccine. Listen for yourself.

“Time will tell,” he said, and this is the first time he has made room for a presidential election.

It was quite different from the position that closed the retreat by claiming victory.

For this reason, interpretations such as “I was about to admit my defeat” and “I seemed to admit that my term was over” followed.

But President Trump left without further comment.

There were additional counting results, right?

[기자]

Georgia and North Carolina, which had been counting for more than 10 days, have split the game.

Georgia beat Biden and North Carolina beat President Trump respectively.

The number of voters insured by both sides has now grown from 306 to 232.

There are 74 more Biden elected.

Unfortunately, the number of insured electoral teams was the opposite of that of the presidential elections four years ago.

Did you hear that there is a large-scale protest against the presidential election near the White House?

[기자]

This is approximately 6 hours after noon on weekends.

Here in Freedom Plaza near the White House, a rally in support of President Trump is taking place.

The organizers called it One Million March.

Far-right groups have also announced their involvement, and anti-Trump fire protests are expected.

Earlier, there was a sporadic demonstration from both sides in front of the White House.

President Trump tweeted a message that seemed encouraging that he could come by and say hi.

The city authorities have warned of the ban on weapons and traffic control will begin shortly after.
