The Meteorological Administration predicted on the 30th that it will be affected by the high cold continental pressure traveling southeast from northern China on the 31st, and the whole country will be generally sunny, but snow will fall everywhere.

In the interior and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the morning temperature will drop to around -20 degrees, while the interior of Gyeonggi and northern Chungbuk and north Gyeongbuk will drop to around -15 degrees. It must be very cold, around -10 degrees in the inland, central and southern areas.

The lowest temperature in the morning was -18 to -4 degrees, and the highest temperature during the day was -5 to 4 degrees.

It is expected that this day there will be a lot of snow in Chungnam, Jeolla and Jeju. The expected snowfall is 5 to 20 cm on the west coast of Chungnam and the mountainous areas of Jeolla-do and Jeju-do. Snow is expected to accumulate more than 30 cm in western Jeolla and more than 50 cm in the mountains of Jeju Island.

There are places in Chungbuk where it snows a bit in the afternoon. From 9 am to night, it can snow in southern Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong Province, and western Gyeongsang hinterland. The Meteorological Administration said that in areas with snow visibility is shortened and there will be many places where roads are slippery, such as tunnel entrances, due to accumulation of snow.

Fine dust concentration is expected to be “good” across the country.

By the 1st of next month, the winds are expected to be very strong and waves high in all seas.

Ocean waves will rise 1.0 to 3.5 m from the eastern sea, 1.0 to 4.0 m from the west sea and 0.5 to 4.0 m from the south sea. Wave heights in the far sea are expected to be 2.0 to 5.0 m in the eastern sea, 2.0 to 4.0 m in the west sea and 1.5 to 5.0 m in the south sea.
