Unlike President Donald Trump’s White House, which was all white, Biden’s White House included many blacks and Latinos. Five of the nine people announced on this day are women, and the composition of the White House is assessed as having diversified in terms of race and gender.
Biden has appointed a longtime close associate, Camp Donnilan’s chief strategist, as a senior White House assistant. At the camp, Donilen oversaw the management of election messages, television commercials, speech writing, and public opinion polls.
Before joining the camp, he was a professor at the University of Delaware and director of the Biden Research Institute. Since the 1980s, he has been involved in political advice to Biden and, during the Barack Obama administration, served as an advisor to Vice President Biden. He is the brother of Tom Donielan, who has been a national security adviser in the Obama administration and is likely to be a moderate in the field of diplomacy and security.
A long-time aide, former Camp President Steve Richetti, enters the White House as an adviser. During the second Obama administration, he served as Vice President Biden, and later served as director of the Penn Biden Center at the University of Pennsylvania while he was wild. He also served as the Assistant Secretary General to President Bill Clinton.
Jen O’Mally Dylan, Head of Camp Ancestral headquarters, serves as the deputy director of the White House. It set a record as the first seat of female ancestry to win the presidential election in the Democratic Party. He is a veteran who has held the presidential election seven times and has also served as vice president of Obama’s reelection field.
During the Democratic Party, he directed the electoral field of candidate Beto Oruk. After Oruk resigned early due to financial difficulties, he joined Biden’s camp at the end of last March, but was recognized for his short-term ability. He has three young children, the In-Sovereign Commission said.
Assemblyman Cedric Richmond, who served as Co-Chair of the Camp Co-Chair and Co-Chair of the Transition Committee, was appointed Senior Advisor and Head of the Office of Foreign Cooperation. Since 2011, he has been a member of the Louisiana State House of Representatives and is the Speaker of the House Black Caucus.
He is close to the Democratic Secretary of the House of Representatives, James Clyburn, one of the most influential black politicians in the United States. At the start of the Democratic Party primaries, Clyburn helped Biden’s rise to the top by publicly proclaiming his support as he held fourth and fifth place, boosting black votes.
Julie Rodríguez, deputy director general of Camp Ancestral, has been named director of coordination between the White House and the state government. In the Obama administration, he served as the senior deputy director of the White House Office of Foreign Cooperation. After working in the office of Senator Kamala Harris, he served as secretary to presidential candidate Harris during the 2017-2019 Democratic primary. Biden Camp was drafted to win the Latino vote. She is the granddaughter of César Chávez, the highest ranking Latino in the camp.
Camp’s legal advisor, Dana Remus, becomes a White House legal advisor. Annie Tomashini, who takes care of Biden-elect’s daily life, becomes the head of the Oval Office at the White House. He started out as a spokesperson for Senator Biden and has been caring for the Biden family for more than 10 years, the transition committee said.
It was also announced that two high-ranking officials would support the president’s wife, Jill Biden. Anthony Vernal, who served as Ms. Jill Biden’s secretary and vice president of the predecessors at the camp, will also serve as Ms. Biden’s senior assistant in the White House. Lawyer Julie Reynoso Pantaleón, who served as Uruguayan ambassador to the Obama administration and deputy assistant secretary of state, was appointed as Mrs. Biden’s chief secretary.
In a statement, the Biden Transition Committee said, “The senior officials of the Biden White House are comprised of experienced and talented individuals from a variety of backgrounds” and “reflected Biden’s willingness to create an administration that look like America. ”
This concluded the appointment of 10 people, including Ron Klein, announced the first secretary of the White House on the 11th. The elections did not include any national security adviser or any spokesman for the White House.
