The ninth typhoon ‘MAYSAK’ rises towards the Korean peninsula with increasing intensity, and on the 29th, the entire country is generally cloudy and it rains across the country, including Jeju Island. It continues from humid conditions to extreme heat, and tropical nights are also expected to continue.

The Meteorological Administration announced that starting at 3 pm Typhoon Myssac travels north-northwest at a speed of 8 km / h from the sea about 950 km northeast of Manila, Philippines. The central air pressure is 985 hPa, the maximum wind speed is 27 m per second, and the wind radius is 300 km. Maisak is a name introduced by Cambodia and is a kind of tree.

The typhoon is expected to travel north across the sea about 220 km northwest of Okinawa, Japan, at 3 p.m. on September 1. The next day, at 3 pm on the 2nd, it will pass through the sea about 210 km southeast of Seogwipo, and at 3 pm the next day it is expected to rise to the sea about 230 km north of Dokdo.

If Mysak maintains its current route, it will most likely affect the entire country as it moves towards Busan and Dokdo. In particular, it is expected to be the closest to Busan around 2 p.m. on September 3, and the distance from the typhoon is only 40 km.

It is currently a mid-century typhoon, but is expected to become a strong typhoon as it passes through Okinawa, Japan at 3 pm on the 30th. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Administration, at 3 pm on the day 31, it turns into a very strong typhoon and approaches Seogwipo.

If it becomes a very strong typhoon, the maximum wind speed can reach 47 m per second. If the wind exceeds 40 m, it is a level that can overturn not only people, but also large rocks and moving cars.
