President Moon Jae-in boarded the air force air control plane ‘E-737 (Peace Eye)’ for the first time as commander-in-chief of the Republic of Korea at dawn on New Year’s Day and flew through the Korean peninsula. President Moon rose to the “ command post in the sky ” and expressed his gratitude for their hard work in inspecting and ordering the readiness of our troops working on land, sea and air during the flight, and connecting the Ark unit sent to the United Arab Emirates.
The Air Force Command and Control Aircraft, Air Force Commander and Control Unit with President Moon, is the core force of the Korean Air Force conducting air surveillance, early warning and command and control.
