Enemies of concubine Shininat Wongwachirapakdi (35), who recently returned to the Thai royal family, are spreading her nude photos abroad, the Times of England reported on the 21st (local time).
According to The Times, more than 1,000 nude photos believed to have been taken by Sininat between 2012 and 2014 were sent to British journalist Andrew McGregor Marshall, who wrote articles critical of the Thai monarchy.
Marshall said on Facebook that “there are dozens of very explicit photographs” and “Shininat may have been taken to send to the king.”
He added, “It appears that these photos were leaked to interfere with the Shininat lottery.”
It is known that Pavin Chachabalpongfen, a Thai scholar who has been prosecuted after criticizing the Thai monarchy and currently lives in Japan, received such an image.
It is known that amid recent massive anti-government protests in Thailand demanding a reform of the monarchy over a long period of time, only Shininat met with supporters of the monarchy, helping the king regain popularity.
Sininat is particularly used as a tool to promote the image of a “happy family” of the Thai royal family, Pavin explained.
The Times said it is not known who leaked the nude photos abroad, but “it appears to be related to the rivalry between the king’s wife, Sininat and the queen.”
Meanwhile, before the coronation ceremony, Thai King Maha Wachiralongkorn (68), who took office in May 2019, married Sutida Wachiralongkorn Na Ayutthaya (41), a former crew member of the Thai airline, and made him queen. The king has been divorced three times in the past and Sutida is the fourth wife.
Two months later, on her birthday in July of the same year, Shininat was named the king’s wife in front of the queen and received public attention.
Shininat graduated from the Royal Army Nursing College in 2008 and received pilot training and jungle warfare. In May 2019, he was promoted to head of the Royal Guard, and after approximately 100 years in the history of the Thai royal family, he was favored enough to receive the title of ‘Wife of the King’.
However, in October of that year, he was deprived of his status because he did not understand the good traditions of the royal family and did not obey the king and queen.
After that, last September, the king decided to reinstall Sininat after 11 months and restored both the status and rank of ‘king’s wife’. It was not revealed how Shininat returned to the royal family.
