In the semi-finals of the ‘TS Shampoo LPBA Championship 2020’ held at the Mayfield Hotel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of Day 1, Lee Mi-rae beat Kim Bo-mi with a score of 2: 1 and climbed to the quarter finals. Lim Jeong-suk (winners of SK Rent-a-Car) and Kim Se-yeon also joined the quarterfinals.

In the first set of the round of 16 held on an 11-point set system (9 points in the last set), Lee Mi-rae won 11: 4 in 8 innings with 4 points in the high run of the 5th inning. Additionally, Kim Kyung-joo and Lee Yoo-joo joined the quarterfinals after defeating Lee Woo-kyung and Lee Hyang-ju with a score of 2: 1, respectively.

On the other hand, ‘defending champion’ Kang Ji-eun finished the tournament losing to Seul-ji. Kang Ji-eun, who lost the first set at 10:11 after a long 21-inning battle, won the second set at 11: 3 (11 innings). However, after 13 innings in 3 sets, Kang Ji-eun was gradually defeated by 9: 8 and was eliminated. Seo Han-sol also lost a score of 0: 2 to Jeong Eun-young and drank high notes.
