McConnell, number one in the Republican Party … “Biden, congratulations on winning”

Senate Representative Mitch McConnell (Kentucky, pictured), the Republican leader in the United States, admitted the election one day after Democratic candidate Joe Biden won the final victory in the electoral vote.

“Many of us expected a different outcome in the presidential election,” McConal said in a Senate speech on the 15th (local time). “I have.”

He continued: “The electoral team has decided, and today I want to congratulate Joe Biden,” he declared succumbing. “Biden-elect is no stranger to Congress,” he said, adding that he has been in public service for many years.

“Regardless of our differences, all Americans deserve to be proud that our country has a vice president for the first time,” McConal said of vice president-elect Kamala Harris.

McConal was reported to have spoken with senators on this day and asked not to object by approving the results of the election vote at the joint Senate-Home meeting on January 6 next year. Some Republican lawmakers, like Mo Brooks (Alabama), are mounting an “operation” to challenge the results of the Gyeongsangju recount in a joint meeting, but this is expected to be a symbolic act.

Although President-elect McConnell has not recognized Biden’s victory thus far, it can be interpreted that the political position was resolved by the choice of the electors. The New York Times (NYT) reported that continuing to agree with President Donald Trump’s dissatisfaction with the presidential election could have a negative effect on the Georgia Senate runoff early next month. Biden met with reporters during Georgia’s support campaign that day and said, “I called him to thank you for the congratulations” and said, “We have different opinions in many areas, but we have a lot of work to do on this.” Biden has a relationship with President-elect McConnell, who negotiated several times when he was vice president of the Barack Obama administration.

Along with changing attitudes on the leadership side in the Republican Party, the ruling and opposition parties are known to be moving closer to agreeing on a plan to support the Corona 19 economy.

Even the Republican turbulence has started to change rapidly, but President Trump is still at a point. He stated on Twitter that day, “there is a lot of evidence of electoral fraud,” without mentioning the results of the electoral vote.

Meanwhile, Brazilian President Zaire Bolsonaro, famous for being the ‘enthusiastic supporter’ of President Trump, also sent a message of congratulations to the elected Biden through a statement from the Foreign Ministry. President Bolsonaro said: “I am ready to work with Biden-elect.”
