When a candidate who is a self-isolating person with a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) goes to the University Academic Proficiency Test (SAT) test center on day 3, or to the university-specific test center on day 3 , you must travel in a personal vehicle.

If the examinee cannot drive directly, a family vehicle is used and the tutor must maintain a distance from the vehicle with a single driver sitting diagonally with the student. The Ministry of Education held the fourth meeting of the SAT management team on day 1 and discussed the requirements for examinees in quarantine.

In principle, those subject to self-isolation should be transported in their own vehicle to the test site. Public transportation is not available. If it is impossible to move by car, local governments and fire departments plan to support the movement of examinees. Before leaving the place of self-isolation (home), the person subjected to self-isolation must wear an equivalent or better KF80 mask, and must not remove the mask while leaving.

If a family member brings a person subject to self-isolation to the test site, only one driver may be accompanied. The person subjected to self-isolation should sit facing away from the rear seat of the driver and keep the distance from the driver as far as possible.

Individuals subject to self-isolation should not use multipurpose facilities such as restaurants, rest areas, and public restrooms when moving to the test site. If you need a meal during the test, such as the SAT, you must bring your own dishes, lunch box, and water before you leave. Restrooms must be used separately for self-quarantine in the test center.

Even when moving to the test site, you should keep your distance from others and avoid conversations and contact. In addition, individuals subject to self-isolation should use hand sanitizers provided at the front and rear of the test site and return to the self-isolation (home) site immediately after testing is completed, without going through another site.

A Ministry of Education official asked for caution, saying: “If you do not meet the self-isolation requirements when you move, it may be considered a violation of self-isolation.” The guardian driving the self-isolating subject under test in his or her own vehicle must wear an equivalent or better KF94 mask for the entire course of movement. While on the move, you should not communicate with the person who is quarantined as much as possible.

Drivers must open windows and provide adequate ventilation before using the vehicle. While moving, the vehicle’s ventilation system must be configured to allow air to enter and the windows must be opened in both directions to provide frequent ventilation in the vehicle. Before and after meeting with the self-quarantine subject, you should use water, soap, hand sanitizer, and hand sanitizer to prepare for the possibility of COVID-19 infection.

In addition, arrangements should be made so that the self-isolating subject can return to the self-isolation site immediately after the test is complete. Vehicles must be sterilized at least twice: once after the self-isolating person has left the test site and once after they have descended into the self-isolation site (home).

As of last month 26, there are 144 isolated students taking the SAT. However, considering the recent spread of Corona 19, it may have increased. An Education Ministry official did not disclose the latest information, saying: “We are discussing how to release statistical information on self-quarantine candidates and confirmed patients in the future.”
