Some 1600 companies are expected to participate in this Kocepe. In the case of manufacturers, 971 seats participated, three times more than last year, and it is the largest in history.

During this period, private industry will promote special discount displays for representative consumer goods such as automobiles, tires, clothing, cosmetics, furniture, and tableware, as well as information technology (IT) products, including home appliances and smartphones.

On this day, the opening ceremony was held as an event in which the public participated for the first time since COSEPE was held. The event was attended by Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, Industry Minister Sung Yun-mo, Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Park Yang-woo, Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin and model PR Kang Ho -dong. Participants in the opening ceremony participated in the ‘Kosepe High Five Donation Drive’ to share their warm hearts with neighbors in need.
