Kim Jae-ho had great success with an RBI at the end of the seventh inning
NC’s decisive moment, the beast shakes and scores with a mistake
Doosan Bears won 2 consecutive victories after losing 1 in the Korean Series. Doosan won 7-6 in the third game of the 2020 Korean Series (7 matches top 4) against NC Dinos held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 20th.
Doosan, who came to third place dramatically in the final game of the regular season, advanced to the Korean series through the semifinals and playoffs. Doosan lost in the first game of the Korean Series and showed anxiety, but they have won the second and third games and are looking to win the Korean Series for the second year in a row and their seventh time.
Doosan’s starter Won-jun Choi (3 runs in 2⅔ innings) and second pitcher Hong Kun-hee (3 runs in 1 inning) were shaken, but bullpen squads like Kim Gang-ryul (2⅔ free innings) and Park Chi-guk (1st free tickets) were on strike.
Doosan Kim Jae-ho played an active role in two at-bats, two hits, three RBIs and a point, including an RBI at the end of the seventh inning against 7-7. Jung Soo-bin had two hits in four at-bats and two points, and Jose Fernandez hit a solo home run, contributing to the victory.
NC, who is trying to win the Siri Korea for the first time in history, suffered two consecutive defeats after one victory. NC Na Seong-beom had great success with four at-bats, two hits, four RBIs and one point, Park Min-woo (two hits and two points in four at-bats) and Lee Myung-ki. (2 hits in 4 at-bats, 1 RBI) and Jin-sung Kang (3 hits in 4 at-bats, 1 score) also showed good batting sensations, but the team’s loss caused the light to fade.
The first point was chosen by NC. Na Seong-beom defeated Steam with a solo home run in the first inning. It was Na Sung-beom’s first home run in the Korean series.
Doosan took a fast break, balancing himself on José Fernández’s solo home run late in the second inning, and then took a chance on Kim Jae-ho’s walk and Oh Jae-il’s double. Then, thanks to Park Gun-woo’s playing field, he managed to reverse 2-1.
The NC, desperate for victory, had a chance to get 1 company, 2nd and 3rd base with the three consecutive hits of Kwon Hee-dong and the sacrifice bun of Park Min-woo and Lee Myung-ki. Right after Na Sung-beom and Yang-ui-ji’s tied sacrifice fly came out at bat, he ran 3-2. It was a valuable goal made by third base running back Park Min-woo’s emotional slip.
Doosan also showed concentration. In the third inning, leader Soo-bin Soo-bin’s 3-pointer and Choi Ju-hwan’s hit tied again. With Kim Jae-hwan’s hit and an opponent’s error, he took a chance at second and third base. After this, Kim Jae-ho ran 2 RBIs and ran 5-3.
NC reversed the card again in the fourth attack. The NC, which had a high probability for two players, made it 6-5 with an RBI from Lee Myung-ki and two strong hits from Na Seong-beom.
However, Doosan tied the score 6-6 taking advantage of an opponent’s error following a touch from leader Soo-Bin Soo-bin in the fifth attack.
Doosan managed to reverse the seventh. When lead hitter Choi Joo-hwan picked a walk, Oh Jae-won was designated as the lead runner. After successfully stealing the base, Oh Jae-won settled into third base with the opponent’s explosive blow. Immediately, Kim Jae-ho landed a forehand and took the lead again at 7-6.
Doosan finished the game with Lee Seung-jin after two companies in the eighth inning. Lee Seung-jin reported on his first save in the Korean series with a zero-run pitch.
After the fourth inning, NC just scored no goals and got down on one knee. After two kills in the ninth inning, Chang-min Mo hit a hit, but Jin-hyuk Noh regretted not hitting.
