Rapper Iron (real name Jeong Heon-cheol, 28), who was arrested for assaulting a minor, attended the deliberation of the order.
Iron appeared in Seoul Western District Court on the morning of the 11th.
Iron, who was on his way to court to question the suspect prior to arrest (substantial warrant examination), entered court without silently answering reporters’ questions such as “Why did you assault him?” And “Do you intend to apologize?”
The validity of the order for the iron will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the same day in the Seoul Western District Court at Kwon Gyeong-seon’s exclusive order hearing.
Iron was arrested as a current offender at the scene on charges of hitting and beating her roommate A (18) with a baseball bat dozens of times after having her roommate A (18) in a prone position on his home in Yongsan-gu the evening of the previous day (special injury).
Mr. A, who was assaulted by Iron, is a minor at the age of 18 and has been learning music from Iron for two years. Iron is accused of hitting the buttocks with a baseball bat for 20 minutes after making A prostrate because he lied to him. As a result, A suffered injuries such as blood bruises on both thighs.
In a police investigation, Mr A said: “I gave a music file to the Iron and the Iron accused him of ‘containing a virus. In 2017, while having sex with his girlfriend A, he got angry and accused of punching him in the face (injuries, etc.) for refusing to comply with his request, he was sentenced to 8 months in prison, 2 years of probation and 80 social services. He was also charged with smoking cannabis (violation of the Narcotics Handling Act) and was sentenced to two years of probation after eight months in prison in 2016.
