‘Nothing more, nothing less, like Hangawi.’ Here’s what our ancestors said about the richest Chuseok of the year. But it doesn’t fit with the situation this year. It is attributable to the economic cold caused by the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

The fourth supplemental budget, which began to be published on the 25th of last month before the Chuseok holiday, is playing a role in filling the pockets of ordinary people. 6.30 trillion won will be paid to 1.023 million people. Of course, not all received grants before the start of the Chuseok holiday.

Since I was unable to apply, I was not eligible for payment first. There are many reasons. Even after Chuseok, the support fund runs out. If you haven’t received it before Chuseok, you need to take more care of it. We have summarized the points you should know for each type of grant.

◇ New desired fund for small businesses
The new desired fund had to be closed due to the strengthening of government quarantine measures due to Corona 19 (collectively prohibited businesses), limited business hours and methods (restricted businesses) or reduced sales (general businesses) from 1 million to 200 They pay 10,000 won each.

Even if the National Tax Service and the National Health Insurance Corporation had administrative data and were eligible for expedited payment, if they did not apply by the morning of the 29th of last month, the deposit could not be made before Chuseok. This is because the banks were unable to process the financial computation because they were inactive during the Christmas season. The online application and application were possible after the 29th of last month, but the support fund will go out from the 5th of this month when the bank opens.

Even those who are not eligible for accelerated payment because they do not have administrative data registered with the government agency can receive the subsidy from October to November. Small businesses created this year are the main targets. You will need a copy of your business registration and identification card, proof of sales documents, and a copy of your savings passbook. You can submit your application through the dedicated online site from the 16th (provisional). You can also request a visit. As of the 26th (provisional), applications are accepted at locations designated by local governments. When the application is confirmed to be eligible and the conditions are met, the support fund will be issued.

Those who received the first 1.5 million won emergency job security support as a small self-employed can also receive new additional desired funds (500,000 won) after the Chuseok holiday. All you need is a confirmation that you have received the support fund from the Ministry of Labor (application confirmation). Specific application methods, documents and schedule will be announced on the 12th.

The entertainment industry ㆍ Colatech, which was added as a new financial support business just before the fourth supplemental administration, will also receive subsidies after Chuseok. The application process is the same as for other applications.

Subsidies to corporate taxis (1 million won) are also paid after Chuseok. The amount of support is the same as that of a private taxi driver which is the goal of the new desired fund for small business owners, but the business itself is different. This is because the taxi driver who belongs to the corporation (business) cannot be considered a small business owner. The government plans to announce a separate project for corporate taxi drivers earlier this month, and the support fund will be paid out at the end of this month.
