Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui attended the ‘HanawonQ K League 1 2020’ final match between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Daegu FC held at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Day 1.

President Eui-sun Eui-sun visited the soccer stadium 5 years after the Seoul-Jeonbuk War held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in 2015.

Specifically, today’s match was a retirement match in which Jeonbuk Hyundai captain and Lee Dong-guk from ‘The Lion King’, who played 12 years in Jeollabuk-do alone, complete their active career.

Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Eui-sun Eui-seon, owner of Jeonbuk Hyundai, visited the stadium in person to celebrate the Jeonbuk Hyundai championship and Lee Dong-guk’s retirement ceremony.

This is the first time that President Chung has visited Jeonju-seong (nicknamed Jeonju World Cup Stadium), where the Jeonbuk Hyundai’s home game is held.

President Chung drew attention by wearing a casual jacket and cotton pants with a green mask, the symbol of modern times for Jeonbuk.

During this day’s game, fans sent a standing ovation for 2 minutes starting at the 20th minute to commemorate Lee Dong-guk’s 20th uniform. President Chung also rose from the platform and congratulated them with applause.
