Hi all.

The first day I went back to step 2 of social distancing, it was definitely a different routine than yesterday, which was step 2.5.

Now, let’s review the restaurant streets that are open even after 9pm and what the atmosphere is like.

Yes, it is on Hongdae Street.

The streets of Hongdae are said to be busy for a while, but are there any crowds today?

Less than usual.

But I can definitely feel that social distancing has diminished.

An employee of a convenience store that I met a while ago told me that sales doubled since stage 2.5 and that the number of citizens who took to the streets increased.

There are not many people, but you can see a lot of people walking down the street and it is difficult to find a place to park in the nearby parking lot.

Now, since regular restaurants, like restaurants, can receive customers after 9 pm, so-called ‘night business’ restaurants are opening one after another.

The computer room was also reopened and indoor sports facilities, such as a gym and small and medium academies with less than 300 people, were resumed.

However, clubs, entertainment bars, hunting pots, karaoke rooms, etc. remain closed as group restrictions remain.

Even if you go down to stage two, there are many quarantine rules that follow stage 2.5.

It seems that the thoughts of merchants who resumed business or customers who visit the restaurant again will be slightly different.

Yes, I went out this afternoon and heard the reactions of the merchants and citizens around here, the merchants were lucky and the citizens were a bit worried.

The place that changed its appearance, a representative place is a large franchise cafe, and in the cafe I could see people sitting inside, drinking coffee or studying.

However, the table spacing was wider than before and the input list applied in step 2.5 was kept.

“We are guiding him to wear masks except for eating and drinking in the store. We are operating strictly in accordance with quarantine rules.”

Traders operating at night also showed expectations that their sales would pick up a bit.

“Because business hours are until 12 o’clock, there is an expectation that customers may arrive after 10 o’clock.”

The PC cafe, which was classified as a high-risk facility and closed in the middle of last month, opened in a month.

However, the entry of minors was not allowed and the consumption of food, which represented an important part of sales, was still prohibited, complaining of difficulties.

[신종철/PC방 사장]
“Eating food is an average of 40% of sales. Because I didn’t do that now, it’s less than half of the original customers …”

The reactions of the citizens crossed between “It was convenient” and “It worries me.”

[박채린/대학생]
“I think it’s convenient to relax because I want to go use it in such a spacious cafe.”

[이승훈/직장인]
“I think there are some areas of concern, as the number of confirmed cases has not decreased yet.”

Anticipated and concerned, the quarantine authorities said that the measures will continue until the 27th.
