Gokseong-gun (Gun-Geun Yoo) began preparing to provide government emergency disaster funds to all former citizens (around 15,000 households).
To speed up emergency funding, Gokseong-gun first held an emergency meeting on May 1 to develop a plan.
At the meeting, the Budget Department, the Welfare Department, the Accounting Department, the Public Relations Department and the Department of Economic Affairs formed the Promotion Team of the Emergency Management Fund as a general department. ◆ How far can I go?
The amount paid depends on the number of households with the same support as of March 29, 2020. A single person household can receive 400,000 won, a two person household 600,000 won, a three person household 800,000 won, and a household four or more people is a million won.
You can check the amount of emergency funds you can receive from May 4 to June 18 on the Emergency Disaster Assistance.kr website. However, for consultation, a certified certificate from the head of the family is required.
If there is any objection to the amount of the request as a result of the consultation, you can make an objection to the municipality office responsible for the direction.
◆ Where can I apply?
Disaster assistance can be charged to a credit card or check or paid with a local gift certificate. Depending on how you are paid, there are also differences in how you apply.
The methods for receiving disaster aid through credit cards and checks are divided into online and offline methods. For online application, you can apply through each card company’s website from May 11 to 31. Families who cannot apply online can do so by visiting the banks of each credit card company from May 18 to 31. If you wish to receive the Gokseong Simcheong gift certificate, you can request it by visiting the municipality office in your jurisdiction from May 18 to June 18.
However, emergency support homes (subsistence allowance, basic pension, and households with disability pensions) will be paid immediately in cash starting May 4 without any separate application or visit.
◆ When can I consult and submit an application?
In preparation for the initial consultation and the escape of the applicant, the consultation and application subsystem 5 will be carried out depending on the end of the year of birth. ▲ On Monday, if the end of the year of birth is 1 or 6, inquiries and requests are possible. ▲ 2 and 7 on Tuesdays, 3 and 8 on Wednesday, 4 and 9 on Thursday, and 5 and 0 on Friday. However, on Saturdays and Sundays, they are all available regardless of the year of birth.
◆ How long should I spend the grant?
Government disaster aid must be used before August 31. Also, if you don’t apply for emergency disaster aid within the time limit or make a total or partial donation, you’ll receive a 15% tax credit towards the end of the year settlement.
