【Youth Daily】 The tax authorities have announced a comprehensive property tax (tax on varieties) that reflects the increase in public prices this year.
Although the tax rate remains unchanged, the public price increases and the fair market price ratio rises from 85% to 90%. As such, the number of taxable tax targets is expected to increase and the amount of the tax on the same real estate is expected to increase rapidly.
The National Tax Service announced on the 23rd that it announced this year’s tax tax based on the status of home ownership and land as of June 1 of this year.
Taxpayers can check the details of the tax notice through the local tax service of the National Tax Service or the Jiro Internet of the Korea Financial Settlement Service before the invoice arrives in the mail.
The final tax is a tax levied on the portion that exceeds the deductible amount by adding the published prices of houses and land per taxpayer (per person). The home is taxable when the sum of the published prices exceeds 600 million won.
However, up to 900 million won is deducted from a first generation owner.
The amount of the deduction for the total combined land (bare land, hybrid land, etc.) is 500 million won and 8 billion won for the combined separate land (commercial and office-affiliated land). The tax rate for the tax is 0.5 ~ 3.2% depending on the number of houses and the amount of the tax base.
The tax rate is the same as last year, but last year’s payers received a bill that increased significantly. Furthermore, the tens of thousands of single-family homeowners who will pay the new tax are expected to reach tens of thousands in Seoul alone.
In regions where the public price rose sharply, taxpayers whose assessed tax amount was more than double that of last year were ousted. This is because the listing price has increased significantly this year and the fair market price ratio, which is multiplied by the listing price to calculate the tax base, is applied at 90%, 5 percentage points more than the year past.
The rate of increase in the price of public housing this year is 5.98% on average nationwide, but the public price of super-high-priced homes of more than 3 billion won in the Gangnam area Seoul and the so-called Masongseong (Mapo, Yongsan, Seongdong) increased by almost 30%.
As taxpayers trying to verify the official tax reported on the day were overcrowded, the hometax and sontax mobile apps once caused a connection failure.
Last year, the number of people notified of the final tax was 129,000 (27.75) more than the previous year, 595,000 people, and the amount of the notified tax was 3.3471 million won, an increase of 1,232.3 million won. (58.3%).
Meanwhile, on the 26th, the National Tax Service plans to announce the number of people notified of the final tax and the amount of the tax notified this year. The tax is due on the 15th of the following month.
