In the German capital, Berlin, more than 30,000 people protested against the COVID-19 quarantine regulations. Similar protests took place on the same day in other major European cities. German broadcasters reported that on the 29th (local time), some 30,000 people marched through city centers, such as Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, and protested to remove regulations for the prevention of coronavirus. Berlin police arrested 200 people for violating quarantine guidelines. The German government has enforced a measure to force the wearing of a mask when boarding public transport until next year and impose a fine of 50 euros for infractions.
