EBS stopped the replay service while a mother who appeared in an EBS adopted family documentary was accused of abusing her adopted daughter and killing her.

On Day 1, MBC’s ‘News Desk’ reported that the mother, Jang Mo, who appeared in the EBS documentary ‘An Ordinary Family’ aired on a Chuseok special last month, abused and neglected her adopted daughter, A. , and died.
Jang reportedly has a royal daughter, but he adopted 6-month-old A-yang earlier this year and said, “I want my royal daughter to be a younger brother of the same sex.” Jang used violence and negligence, such as hitting Miss A in the underground parking lot, pushing the stroller hard against the wall, and lifting the boy’s neck with his hand. At the time of death, signs of a tear were found on Miss A’s clavicle, nape and ribs. The direct cause of death is a prolonged blast, and police believe that Jang struck him with a foot or a heavy object.
On the 9th, the Seoul Yangcheon Police Department requested an arrest warrant for Jang along with a report containing the results of the investigation. The Seoul Southern District Law conducts an interrogation (substantive search warrant) of the suspect before the arrest of Jang, who is accused of child abuse and death, starting at 10:30 a.m. today.
The results of the interrogation will be released this afternoon.
EBS closed all videos immediately after the production team acknowledged the news of the boy’s death.
