The Army Chief of Staff is scheduled to give a stern written warning to 8th Corps commander (Lieutenant General) Kang Chang-gu, the senior unit commander, for command responsibility for the lack of coastal borders and anti-invasion operations.
In addition, for the 18 people who were directly or indirectly responsible for the situational action process and the management of gates and drains, personnel actions were delegated to the Land Operations Command. Measures will be taken according to the severity of the error, the Defense Ministry said.
