‘Death waiting in bed’ in concentrated nursing hospitals … 13 people died in one place

Currently, 70% of confirmed cases are concentrated in the densely populated metropolitan area. So, more than 700 confirmed cases a day leave the metropolitan area. This is because the situation is so dire that many measures arise. In particular, nursing hospitals are fully quarantined when confirmed cases come out, and meanwhile the number of confirmed cases is increasing. It is particularly dangerous due to the large number of elderly people, but it is not treated properly because there is no bed. In fact, only 13 people died waiting for a bed in a nursing hospital in Bucheon. So far, twenty-five people have died waiting for a bed, but all but three have died in nursing hospitals.

It is a nursing hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.

There were 146 confirmed cases since day 11.

Thirteen of them died waiting to go to bed.

Medical personnel were also put into group quarantine, but proper treatment was difficult.

In some cases, confirmed medical personnel took care of other confirmed cases.

So far, 25 confirmed cases have died while waiting for a bed.

Of these, 22 died because they were in a nursing hospital.

The number of confirmed patients from nursing hospitals continues to appear.

The first confirmed person was released on the 15th at Guro-gu Nursing Hospital, Seoul.

The same group was quarantined, but confirmed cases continued.

So far, there are 64 in total.

Two more patients were confirmed at a hospital in Seocho-gu, where the first confirmed cases came out on the 10th.

As of today, the government has decided to withdraw the preventive inspection cycle for all people who work in infection-prone facilities such as nursing homes.

Reduced from 2 weeks to 1 week for the metropolitan area and from 4 to 2 weeks for the non-metropolitan area.
