In Japan, a sumo wrestler in his 20s died of a new coronavirus infection (corona19).
On July 13, the Japanese Sumo Association announced that Suetake Kiyotaka, 28, who had been treated in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the city of Tokyo, died of a crown19. Suetake, who has used the name Shobushi, stands 165 cm tall and has a small body size, and has suffered from diabetes due to habitual illness.
The Japanese archipelago was shocked when a sumo wrestler, considered a symbol of health, hid with Corona 19.
In particular, in the course of Suetake’s death, criticism of the government arose as it was discovered that Japan’s poor Corona19 defense system had affected him.
Suetake was reported to have missed more than four days since the first symptoms of corona19 appeared, and he did not receive timely consultations from the public health center and was unable to find a hospital to be hospitalized. From the moment Suetake showed suspicious symptoms, he was denied a visit to a local hospital due to his reluctance to receive suspected Corona patients19.
Suetake called an ambulance when the blood sugar spilled with blood on the 8th of last month, 5 days after the first symptoms appeared, and only then was she able to visit the hospital.
Still, I couldn’t find a hospital to be admitted to, so I was admitted to a university hospital that night. Corona19 was judged negatively by a simple examination at the university hospital. Suetake had worse symptoms a day later, so she visited another university hospital and had a PCR (genetic amplification) test done and confirmed.
Suetake, who received intensive care due to worsening illness on the 19th of last month, died at 0:30 in the morning.
On the Internet, there has been a shocking reaction to government criticism that Suetake was killed for negligence.
On the other hand, the Japanese Sumo Association is slated to perform corona19 antibody tests on 1,000 people associated with the association, including 693 professional sumo wrestlers, next week.
The summer tournament scheduled for the next 24, ‘Natsubasho’ was canceled, and the ‘Harubasho’ event, which took place in March, was held as an unattended match.
