Amid the spread of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), essay exams by the university have begun.

Starting with Soongsil University on the 4th, the day after the completion of the SAT, on the 5th of the first weekend, major Seoul universities such as Sungkyunkwan University, Konkuk University and Sogang University continued their writing tests.

As the social distancing caused by Corona 19 strengthens, colleges are also paying attention to writing test prevention. Sungkyunkwan University controlled access to the campus for parents, chaperones, and the general public, not test takers, on days 5 and 6 when the trial was conducted. The parent waiting room, which had been installed on campus until last year, was also not operated. Parents who were unable to use the cafes due to reinforced social distancing stood in front of the school gate for the two-hour exam, waiting for their children. In addition, the road from Hyehwa-dong roundabout to Changgyeonggung Palace dropped off the candidates during the exam by checking that the vehicle did not enter the school, causing congestion when waiting cars crowded.

On this day, all the candidates who came out after taking the essay test at Sungkyunkwan University wore masks, and among them, an examinee was also seen wearing a full-body quarantine suit to prevent corona 19 infection. Although the rehearsal rehearsal center setting has changed a lot due to Corona 19, test takers were often noted riding motorcycles for other college rehearsal exams as in previous years.
