The mobile phone password used by Jo Joo-bin (24 years, prison), the operator of the telegram ‘Dr. Bang ‘, who produced and distributed sexual exploitation, is resistant to investigating crime.
The Special Investigation Center of the National Police Agency for Digital Sex Crimes said it managed to decipher the Galaxy S9 between Jo Joo Bin’s two mobile phones at 9 a.m. on the 15th after about two months of forensic work.
A National Police Agency official said: “I immediately turned over my cell phone to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to investigate the ‘Parkbang’ incident as soon as the S9 password was released.
Previously, the police arrested Cho Joo-bin on March 16, seized and searched his home, and seized the Galaxy and iPhone phones one by one.
Police are still working to unlock iPhone passwords.
Police are turning Jo Jubin’s new recruits over to the prosecution and guilty of simultaneously investigating paid members like ‘Dr. Bang ‘directed by him.
The investigation is expected to accelerate with the decryption of Jo Joo-bin’s mobile phone.
Police have struggled to obtain evidence by reducing the investigative network for paid members, but not through the cooperation of online messenger Telegram. Furthermore, it would be possible to obtain clues to justify the accusations of organizing criminal groups by Joo-bin Jo and his accomplices.
Meanwhile, the police arrested 77 people by arresting 536 people involved in a total of 541 cases related to digital sex crimes carried out by social networks (SNS) such as Telegram.
If you look at 536 by type, there are 130 producers and operators of sexual exploitation, 172 broadcasters, 223 owners and 11 more.
Of the 541 cases, 75 were sent to the prosecution, and the remaining 466 were still under investigation.
The age group of 536 suspects is 173 in their teens, 218 in their 20s, 102 in their 30s, 33 in their 40s, and 10 in their 50s and older.
The total number of victims was 345. Among them, 291 age groups whose identity was confirmed were 173 in adolescence, 84 in 20, 23 in 30, 6 in 40 and 5 in 50 or more.
