Meanwhile, the Democratic Party also launched a bill to amend a law that could recommend the chief of the airlift without an opposition party. President Lee said: “I think (the opposition party) is to warn people who are very politically biased and can hardly trust the chief of the airlift, but not to prevent the launch itself.” However, as to whether the law should be amended, he said: “It is up to the National Assembly to decide whether the opposition parties agree or make legislation.”
