The presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of the United States, Joe Biden, and President Donald Trump faced each other head-on on the 7th (local time) for the results of the 11th and 3rd presidential elections.
Shortly after the media reported that Biden’s victory was confirmed, candidate Biden declared victory saying, “I will be president of the entire United States,” but President Trump said, “The election is not over.”
It seems that some of the contestants have counted and litigated against the issue of determining future winners.
Candidate Biden said in a tweet that day, saying it was an honor to choose to lead America and that he would be president of all Americans, whether he was photographed or not.
He said, “America is honored to elect me to lead our great country.”
“The work ahead of us will be tough, but I promise. I will be president of all Americans, whether you choose me or not.”
He added, “I will keep the faith you gave me.”
He made a separate statement and appealed: “Time to become one after anger and harsh investigation.”
It is interpreted that he expressed his gratitude to the voters who elected him as president, and expressed his intention to dedicate himself to the unity of American society divided during the electoral process and called for unity.
Candidate Biden is known to give a public speech tonight.
On the other hand, President Trump made a statement after the media reported that Biden’s victory was confirmed, saying: “It is a simple fact that this election is not over at all.”
“We all know why Joe Biden is in a hurry to pretend to be a winner in a lie, and why his allies in the media are helping him so much,” he argued, “because they don’t want the truth out.”
President Trump predicted a lawsuit repeating the position that this presidential election is a ‘fraud’ without providing any evidence.
He emphasized that “as of Monday (9), our camp will surely follow the electoral laws and will begin to file lawsuits in the courts so that the legitimate winner can take office.”
“I will not rest until I get the honest counting results that Americans deserve and democracy demands,” he said.
When the winners were confirmed, foreign media reported that President Trump was at his own Virginia golf course.
