As of today, the night in Seoul is dark.
After a while, starting at 9pm, supermarkets, cinemas and PC rooms will be closed immediately.
Public transportation is also on the decline, so if you’re outside now, it’s a good idea to rush into the house.
So, let’s look at the situation in central Seoul right now as 9 o’clock is approaching.

Yes, it is a weekend night, but the number of people coming and going from Hongdae Street has decreased.
There are not only restaurants and pubs, but also various shops such as clothing stores and beauty salons.
A little later, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., all types of industry in general must be closed if they exceed 300 square meters.
From tonight, city buses also have a 30 percent reduction, so it seems difficult to expect customers from small shops that are also open.
This emergency measure in Seoul included hypermarkets and cinemas.
During the day, I visited a large mall in central Seoul, but as of today, shopping was restricted so it was a bit crowded.
Despite the inconvenience, there were many reactions that citizens should be patient.
[이화영·배봉한]“I came to see him mainly for shopping, and I know I need water or something right now. I think it’s good because it’s good if we all work together and (crown) disappears quickly.”
The cinema was also full.
When I tried to make a reservation myself, it was impossible to make a reservation for the time ending after 9pm.
According to the theater industry, 30 percent of all movies are seen after 7 pm, so this action seems inevitable.
[최재혁·고황경]“Although it is somewhat uncomfortable because I believe that reinforced quarantine measures are necessary, it seems that our citizens will have to monitor that degree.”
PC rooms, karaoke rooms, reading rooms, and academies at approximately 25,000 locations are also subject to commercial suspension after 9 p.m.
The Seoul subway will start operating from the 8th.
However, supermarkets and shops of less than 300 square meters can be opened for you to buy your daily necessities.
Smaller restaurants can also be packed and delivered.
The city of Seoul said its goal is to reduce the average number of confirmed cases per day to less than 100 in two weeks through this emergency measure.
