The Ministry of Justice is in a position to participate to reduce the risk of recidivism, but the opinions of the experts are mixed.

The Korea Legal Protection and Legal Welfare Corporation under the Ministry of Justice is running the ‘Hug Work Support Program’, a work support program for those expected to be released or those who are released.

On the 12th of next month, it was confirmed that Cho Doo-soon, a child sex offender who has yet to come out of a month’s release, also applied for the show.

I have not applied for any other vocational training while in prison for almost 12 years, but this is the first time I have applied for this program.

Participating in the program allows you to plan employment, receive post-release training, and even find a job.

Depending on the stage, you can receive up to 3 million won in education expenses, job success allowance, training participation support allowance, training incentives, and interview participation allowance.

The Ministry of Justice said that Cho Doo-soon would participate and explained that she plans to participate in the program as long as she is eligible to apply.

They saw the need for stable jobs to reduce the risk of recidivism.
