Johns Hopkins University in the US announced that the number of new confirmed cases of corona19 in the US stood at 153,000.
For ten consecutive days, the number of new confirmed cases exceeded 100,000 and the number of hospitalized patients reached 67,000 for the first time.
This is more than double what it was three weeks ago.
Chicago issued a home reservation order for a month and New York state entered a partial lockdown.

A growing number of countries, including France and Greece, have entered national lockdowns.
