Let me tell you the current status of the domestic outbreak of Corona 19 infection. As of November 9, 99 new confirmed cases were confirmed in Korea and 27 cases of overseas influx were confirmed. The total cumulative number of confirmed cases so far is 27,553. Currently, 2044 people are in quarantine treatment and 57 patients with severe gastric disorders. Yesterday there were two deaths and the cumulative death toll was 480. I wish the blessings and wishes of the deceased to the grieving family with a word of deep comfort. The day before I will explain the main domestic outbreaks. Regarding the building in Seocho-gu, Seoul, three more were confirmed during the quarantine, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases to date is 16. Regarding the Gangseo-gu, Seoul insurance company, eight additional cases were confirmed during the quarantine, and there have been 34 cases so far. Regarding the Lucky Sauna in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, two more have been confirmed since November 5, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases to date is 44. Regarding the Alumni Golf Club in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province, two more people were confirmed during the quarantine, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 67. Regarding the medical institutions in Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi and the nursing facilities in Anyang-si, 6 more people were confirmed, so the cumulative number of confirmed patients is 110. Regarding the metropolitan high school and gymnasium, one person was quarantined during the quarantine and another was confirmed during the contact person investigation, so the cumulative number of confirmed cases is 71. Regarding the medical device sales business in Wonju, Gangwon-do, the cumulative number of confirmed cases has been 16 since the first confirmed cases on November 6. Regarding the Daegu Jesus Center Church in Seo-gu, Daegu, one person was confirmed during the quarantine and two more during the contact person investigation, and so far, the cumulative number of confirmed patients is 37. Regarding the Daegu Dong-gu Osolgil coffee shop, an additional 9 cases were confirmed during the contact investigation after the first confirmed case occurred on November 6, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 10. An additional person was confirmed in quarantine related to the family in Changwon City, Gyeongsangnam-do, and there have been 29 cases so far. In relation to the bank in Suncheon City, Jeonnam, 6 additional confirmed cases have been confirmed since the first case on November 7, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases to date is 7. Quarantine authorities are conducting preventive testing for vulnerable facilities, such as hospitals and nursing facilities, and plan to actively support early testing and epidemiological investigations for local governments with increasing numbers of patients. Also, I would like to talk briefly about the current flu situation. Current influenza activity is not high. It is considered less than or similar to the previous year. However, since mid-November, when the annual influenza epidemic begins, it has been approaching, so we recommend that you get a flu vaccine before the large-scale outbreak begins. Also, to prevent winter respiratory infections, including influenza, it is very important to observe personal hygiene, such as wearing a mask, washing hands, following cough etiquette, and not touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. What I would like to mention today is that indoor infections have a higher risk of infection than outdoors, and it is especially important to wear a mask indoors in public facilities where many people gather. The closer and closer the distance between people, the greater the risk of infection. Wearing a mask can be uncomfortable and unfamiliar. However, until then, before the vaccine is completed, the greatest responsibility for preventing infection is obvious. Again, wear a mask and wash your hands.
