In a statement released shortly after claiming his victory in Pennsylvania, Biden said he humbly accepts the confidence he displayed from the American people and from Vice President-elect Camela Harris.
Elect Biden then appealed at the end of the election to put anger and harsh words behind him and go together as a nation.
President-elect Biden stressed that America is now the time to come together and heal.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump tweeted on the 7th that he had won the presidential election.
President Trump has revealed his stance that he will uphold the lawsuit and it will be some time before the final victory is confirmed.
