Collective infection of Club Itaewon in one month
Mayor Park Won-soon “Strict Situation” … Emergency Trigger
Around 10 days before the ‘offline school’, the city of Seoul issued an order to ban the gathering of entertainment facilities at the city hall, as a large number of new infectious diseases by coronavirus (corona19) were confirmed in the adult club in Itaewon. It is more powerful than the government’s “business order administrative order” for delivery to entertainment facilities across the country.
Mayor Park Won-soon held an emergency briefing on the afternoon of the 9th and said, “Starting at 2 pm today, we will issue an indefinite setup order to all entertainment facilities such as clubs, emotional taverns, colatech and living rooms. “
The ‘ban on collective gathering’ is a measure that prohibits the gathering of two or more people due to the prevention of infectious diseases and is effectively a trade ban. The ‘business ban’ is based on the Food Sanitation Act. The city of Seoul issued an order to ban the meeting for two weeks when a confirmed person left the “ㅋㅋ & Trend” hall in Yeoksang-dong, Gangnam-gu on the 8th of last month.
As the city of Seoul ordered the Itaewon Club ban, if it is ignored and opened, the owner and visitor will be charged. The Seoul Metropolitan Government also intends to claim the right of reimbursement if confirmed cases by corona19 occur while operating in violation of the order to prohibit collective assembly.
Mayor Park warned, “We thought the trend for group infection related to Club Itaewon was severe.” From this point on, the facility should be closed and severely punished for violations.
It appears that 70% of Itaewon’s visitors were unable to contact the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s order to ban collective business suspension in less than a day after the recommended administrative order for the nationwide trade ban issued the day previous. This is because the corroboration related to the crown19 related to the Itaewon Club is so great that there are around 40 people in the metropolitan area.
A Seoul city government official said: “We tried to phone 1,500 people the day before, but were unable to contact them.
Since the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s ban on administrative orders was issued indefinitely, it will remain in effect until a separate order is issued.
