In this presidential election, the United States Senate election is as important as the presidential election.

It is interesting to see if the Democrats will be able to win back the United States Senate, where the Republican Party was the majority, and the direction of the majority in the United States Senate is expected to be decided only in January of next year.

Currently, the Republican Party holds the majority of the 100 seats in the United States Senate, with 53 seats.

Based on this advantage, despite controversy, Conservative Federal Judge Beret was approved and appointed last month.

Along with the presidential elections on the 3rd, elections were held for 35 senators.

As a result of the count so far, 30 people have been confirmed, with 48 seats for the Republican Party and 47 seats for the Democratic Party, including independents.

The Democrats won new Colorado and Arizona and lost Alabama.

It takes 51 seats to become a majority party, but given the remaining five seats, it seems difficult for both Republicans and Democrats to become majority parties in this election.

Of the three remaining seats, the Republican Party leads Alaska and North Carolina, and the Democrats lead Arizona.

Georgia, which has elected two senators at the same time due to the resignation of its predecessor, requires first- and second-place candidates to vote for the finals on January 5 next year if they do not get a majority of votes.

In the by-elections, the Democratic Party candidate ranked first due to candidate confusion, and the Republican Party candidate voted in a runoff.

In other elections where the Republican candidate was in first place, 50% of the votes collapsed in the last minute of the scrutiny and a second round was reached with the Democratic candidate.

In the end, if the Republican Party wins at least one seat in Georgia’s runoff on January 5 next year, the majority in the U.S. Senate wins, but if the Democrats take both places, the tie is 50- fifty.

The United States Senate requires that the new vice president, who will be elected if the vote is tied, serve as president of the Senate.
