First connect Washington. Correspondent Lim Jong-ju, are the results of the count coming out one after another in areas where the voting has ended?

[기자]

Voting for 6 and 3 states ended at 7 pm and 7:30 pm here, and at 9 am and 9:30 am Korean time, respectively.

Warfront Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky.

There are 98 electoral groups in these areas.

The results of the count are beginning to appear in Indiana and Kentucky, with President Trump leading as expected.

The region of interest is the state of Georgia.

Although it is a Republican dominant region, Biden’s fierce persecution has led to a close battle on and off the margin of error.

Are there areas where the results of the station exit survey have already appeared?

[기자]

A consortium of US broadcasters such as CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC announced the results of exit polls in nine states, except one in Indiana.

It seems to be getting closer to carefully considering the variables brought about by the increase in pre-voting.

Indiana, with 11 voters, was predicted to win over President Trump.

[앵커]

So, will it take a while for the winner’s outline to appear?

[기자]

Regarding the last elections, we were able to define the profile of the party in the early afternoon of our time, but this year the situation has changed.

With the impact of Corona 19 and the voting rush combined, pre-voting combined with mail by mail and early voting has risen to 100 million.

This is more than 70% of all voters in the presidential election four years ago.

Depending on the region, the count may be significantly delayed.

Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which are considered key competition states, are those places. Some say the count can take several days.

[기자]

Pennsylvania and Wisconsin cannot open mail-in ballots until Election Day.

Therefore, votes in place are counted first and President Trump is likely to lead the way.

Also, if a postmark is stamped on Election Day in Pennsylvania, it is recognized as a valid ticket until arrival on the third day thereafter.

Therefore, the confirmation of the count may take several days.

“Be patient,” said Pennsylvania Secretary of State Casey Buqba, “the count never ends today.”

However, Florida, the largest matchmaker, can see the flow of the pre-vote a little earlier, right?

[기자]

The state of Florida can open ballots that arrive at the electoral authorities 22 days before Election Day, verify signatures, and be ready for the vote.

Arizona can do this up to 14 days before Election Day.

So these states are starting to see results by voting by mail.

Georgia and Texas also post the results by mail by region after voting ends.

Notably, the state of Florida currently holds 81% of the Associated Press votes, with President Trump at 49.7%, Biden at 49.5% and 0.2% p.

So I think we need to follow the results a bit more.
